The International Chamber Music Academy (ICMA) will
make all arrangements for the accommodations and services furnished in direct
connection with the program as described in the itinerary. ICMA reserves
the right to make changes in the itinerary with or without notice where deemed
necessary. ICMA also reserves the right to cancel the program prior to
departure if the International Chamber Music Academy determines that
circumstances require such cancellation, in which case full refunds of fees
paid to the Festival will constitute full settlement with the enrollee.
No refund will be issued due to
voluntary or negligent omission by the program enrollee for any of the services
and accommodations described in the itinerary or for any unused portion of the
program, unless agreed to in writing prior to departure.
The International Chamber Music Academy
and its directors, coordinators, and faculty will not be liable for any loss,
damage, injury, delay, substitution of equipment, irregularity, or additional
expense arising from the acts or omissions of any air carrier, hotel, travel
agent, or ground carrier or due to strikes, war, civil disturbances, weather,
acts of God, quarantines, sickness, government regulations or restrictions, or
from any other cause. Baggage and instrument insurance is highly
recommended. By signing the application, the participant waives any such
claim against the aforementioned agencies and persons and holds them
harmless.
The participant will be asked to
stipulate that he/she is covered by a valid accident and health plan that
covers medical and other health care expenses that might be incurred while the
enrollee is out of the country of residence, or that the participant will
obtain such insurance by the time of departure for the program. Worldwide
medical emergency assistance insurance is also recommended. ICMA and its
employees are not liable for any health or accident problems incurred by the
participant in transit and during the festival, for difficulties arising from
participants’
disabilities or special needs, and for the results of the participants’ actions.
ICMA is not associated with Illinois
Wesleyan University.
